Template talk:Wiktionary and WMF jargon

This template seems like it could be a decent way to address the perennial problem of whether or not to include general Wiki* jargon. I would hope it would also cover Wikipedia jargon, and perhaps all WikiMedia jargon, instead of only Wiktionary? --Connel MacKenzie 17:00, 12 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I just added DW. I have no problem with this being (Wiki jargon) but I would like {wjargon} to replace the manual Glossary at some point. Does it make sense to have "WS" mean WikiSpecies in the Wiktionary Glossary, or should "WS" simply be listed (as I think it is now) as "Wiktionary Shortcut". --Stranger 19:31, 29 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
That is an interesting problem. I don't honestly know. I've been entering shortcuts on a first-com-first-served basis...that would make WikiSpecies be WS:WSp or WS:WSP. Better ideas anyone? --Connel MacKenzie 19:39, 29 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
