This template adds the page to Category:Wiktionary essays, depending on namespace. Put this atop any essay. If there is, and is to be, only one author, add some value to the parameter sg; e.g., sg=1.

It allows several positional parameters, which are the shortcuts (without brackets) to the page.

Please do not subst this template.
