vermillion / vermilion

I would like to undo your rollback on the vermillion page. This entry is currently the subject of an editing dispute over whether this word is a common misspelling, an archaic spelling (i.e. historically misspelled), or a valid alternative spelling. The main discussion has moved to the vermillion talk page if you wish to contribute.

I listed it as "disputed" in the same way Collins American English Dictionary lists supercede as a disputed spelling. That acknowledges that there is disagreement over its validity without saying that it is either totally wrong or acceptable. I believe this description assists wiktionary users.
