Welcome to my user page. For the most part I am here to correct or add minor things I notice. Usually IPA pronunciation or etymology, particularly for Romance Languages. I am also kind of new here so I don't know how to work some of the more complicated features which is why I mostly just do minor edits but I'm still happy to help. If you notice some such formatting errors within my edits I promise they are completely unintentional and I do my very best to ensure those such things do not happen.

Below I have a few words which may be of importance.

aiïșa (IPA: /aɪ̯.ˈiʃa/) (from English aisha (name) from Arabic aisha (“she who lives”)) [archaism: aeïșa] - wonderment beyond human capability but still not quite divine or heavenly. Originally meaning something greater than human but less than God but now carries a sense of lacking because it is not quite up to God and now means happy but void.

contentamentețța (IPA: /ˈtet.t͡sa/) (from contentamento (“contentment”) + derivational nouns suffix -ețța (“-ness”)) [Legacy form: gemicio] [archaism: gemiço] - the quality of being contented or otherwise happy by the current state of the people or things around you specifically. Focus on the local scope not involving the rest of the world. Quando audevo la musica, avvevo una șentamento de contentamentețța.

Other Translations to Lațiense[edit]

Si io aiuto una persona ad avvê șperanța, io no habrò vivit in vano

If I help one person to have hope, I will not have lived in vain -Martino Lutero King Jr.

Quando io avevo 5 anni, mia mae mi diceva sempre che la felicità era la chiave delle vite. Quando vadai alle șcuole, me demandaròn cume volesse essê quando foșșo grande. Io scrixei “felice”. Mi dixaròn che no avei capișcut le questionis, e io loro dixei che no avevan capișcut le vite.

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. -Gioanne Lennone
Perchè Dio tanto amô lo mundo che ha donat suo fillîo unigenito, aîșì che toați chi creden in lo, no pereșcan ma tengan vita eternale. Gioanne 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, so that all who believe in him may not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

Our Father, who art in the heavens
Sanctified be thy name
May Come your kingdom
Let it be done your will in the earth as it is in the heavens
Give to us this day our daily bread
And remit our sins
As we remit our debtors
Do not induce us into the temptation
But free us from evil
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, now and for ever.
This is a more literal translation of the Lațiensis version and not a standard English Catholic Version
