The transliterations given by tr= in Hebrew entries are not meant to be accurate representations of colloquial pronunciation according to any particular dialect, but rather a generic transliteration that broadly represents in simply characters the general pronunciation according to grammatical rules. There should be only one transliteration listed for each word. While established editors have not agreed on all details of the transcription method, the changes you are making to transcriptions are not in line with current Wiktionary practice.—msh210℠ (talk) 20:07, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
Again, a transliteration os not supposed to describe pronunciation. It is intended only to show the sequence of characters by conversion to Roman script. A single Hebrew spelling will have only one transliteration. --EncycloPetey 23:23, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
