- Yes, there are 13 constellations in the ecliptic, but astronomers do not normally count Ophiuchus as a constellation of the zodiac. If you can demonstrate otherwise with durably archived quotations (see WT:CFI), that would be appreciated. --EncycloPetey 05:07, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
