WikiThanks[edit]

Here's a little flower to say WikiThanks for reverting country recently. --Connel MacKenzie 23:35, 11 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Deleting things already, eh? Congratulations on your (?)promotion! Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy, etc.--Alia H 07:01, 15 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Heh. Thanks. It was a nice test. (Really, it boiled down to very good timing.) Only *very* blatant vandalism is supposed to be deleted without someone first requesting deletion in rfd. It seems like it may be now even harder for me to ignore "Recent changes" and create real entries. --Connel MacKenzie 07:35, 15 Feb 2005 (UTC)
Yep, that's the downside of it. It distracts you from adding real content. Anyway, you don't have to feel obliged to hunt down vandalism. If you see it, you take care of it. Make sure that whatever you do, it is fun to you. That's the best way to keep going. The advantage of having relatively much sysops is that the chore is divided over a lot of shoulders.
Sorry Alia, for putting these comments over here. Did I already welcome you to this project? I'm afraid not, so I'll do it now: Welcome! I hope you'll feel at home here. Polyglot 08:35, 15 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Headings in rfd[edit]

Thanks for asking. You probably will need to add the extra "=" manually. To the extent that I start anything there I tend to use the regular edit function rather than the special "make a new nomination". This is more a matter of personal editing style. I haven't heard of any plan to fix this because in other circumstances people may want it to work as it does now. Eclecticology 01:30, 16 Feb 2005 (UTC)
