I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk (discussion) and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the beer parlour or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome!

Foreign language entries[edit]

Hello there. In the English language Wiktionary, foreign language entries should normally give a simple translation into English (if one exists) rather than a definition. Also you need not add empty sections (such as pronunciation) - just leave them out. Finally "related terms" are for words that are related linguistically to the word being defined - we use "See also" for words related to the subject of the word. I have been cleaning your early entries, and adding English language versions for those French words that have entered the English language. Cheers. SemperBlotto 13:58, 1 October 2005 (UTC)Reply
