Terms that look citable[edit]

I'm feeling lazy, sorry.

  • hamplanet (noun):
  • pisslamist (noun and adjective)
  • white monkey (noun)
    • See "white monkey" on our sister project. I think the definition "a white content creator shilling for the CCP’s policies" is too specific. It looks like the attestable definition is "a foreigner hired for their white skin" in China, without politics being a necessary component.
    • It can be found in Google Books with the right keywords, in news articles (which may be online only), and probably other places too. This does require a bit of sifting because it can refer to actual or fictional non-human simians too, but the uses are there and I suspect it meets CFI.
  • teapotist, a-teapotist / ateapotist
    • I think a-tea-ist would be a good entry to have if it can be attested, too.
  • LARP (verb) and LARPer (noun) - Internet slang / figurative sense
    • This exists on Usenet too, e.g. "larping as" (one possible search), although you have to sift through the uses that refer to actual roleplay, historical reenactment, cosplay, and the like (as you may find in rec.games.frp.*, for instance). In general, it looks like older uses are more likely to be literal, and newer ones more likely to be figurative, which makes sense as the Internet slang sense is a further semantic development.
