Definition from Wiktionary, the free dictionary

Hi, welcome. I don't think we need pictures in a dictionary; try discussing it at the beer parlor. Thanks. 24 20:48, 30 May 2005 (UTC)

I apologise for jumping in here, but pictures are a well-established part of Wiktionary, and frankly, that's quite a good picture. Wiktionary is a project to combine all manner of lexical tomes, picture dictionary included, and wiki is not paper; we can afford to stick it in here. So long as that picture isn't copyrighted by someone else, I reckon it should stay. --Wytukaze 20:51, 30 May 2005 (UTC)
What's the harm in putting pictures in ? These are not new pictures I'm uploading. They are already online in Wiktionary or WikiCommons, waiting to be used for free. Practically no extra memory storage is needed to insert these pics. There have been pictures inserted before in Wiktionary and other printed dictionaries, why not a few more ?
