I looked up "Nuclear" to see if 'nucular' would be an accepted definition. I can't believe Merriam-
Webster actually has it - unless they explicitly mark it as incorrect - because if we put 'nucular'
as a pronunciation of nuclear, then shouldn't we note 'brung' as a past participle of 'bring,' or the hundreds of variations of regional dialect pronunciation... bleh. Anyway, props for your removal of

(This is User:Equinox, but I can't be bothered to sign in right now.) 1. This isn't my "line of work". I'm a software developer. 2. There is no reason to study Latin and Greek in order to write an English dictionary. After all, most English speakers don't speak those languages, which is why they tend to use words like matrixes rather than matrices, and do not balk at e.g. television (mixture of Greek and Latin, proscribed by traditional grammarians). You are just being needlessly, pedantically touchy about things that don't matter in English; may I suggest that it is in fact you who need a different line of work, since your quibbles are of no relevance to modern English?
