It's a fair edit, just 1990 reform spellings aren't used very much. So we tend not to link to them too much, to reflect the usage. Mglovesfun (talk) 19:25, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'm just kind of annoyed that it's taking so long for people to start using the reformed spellings (it's been almost 20 years now), and I just thought that I could help out by updating the page. Perhaps we could have the text read connaitre, but have it actually linked to the connaître page? That would make me feel really special. Ideally, I would have the connaître page be a small page that says that it's the old spelling of connaitre and link to the new one (essentially flipping around the current arrangement), but of course that is a whole different animal.
