Please don't remove or "Croatize" existing Serbo-Croatian sections. There is absolutely nothing "Croatian" in the word mrkva. It is an inherited, native Slavic word also spoken by Serbs, Bosniaks and Motenegrin, pronounced the same way, whit the same accentuation and inflection. It can be found in e.g. Vuk Stefanović Karadžić's 1818 Serbian dictionary, p. 419, and has plenty of attestations by Bosniak and Serbian writers. One of the primary benefits of unified Serbo-Croatian treatment is the fact that we can tag the word as being perceived today as markedly Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian, and mention the correspondingly preferred synonyms in the usage notes or the ====Synonyms==== sections in the other Serbo-Croatian varieties. - Yeah, Vuk Stefanović Karadžić must have visited Croatian restaurants while compiling the first dictionary of Serbian language. We have WT:CFI, and if the word passes it (and this one obviously does), we cannot "delete" it. Citations are here what references are for Wikipedia. 98% of what are today perceived as "Croatian words" have been used historically used by Serbian and Bosnian writers, and vice versa for "Serbian words" and Croatian/Bosnian writers.
