Latin Script[edit]
It can have two scripts, some languages have. I suggest Ali Asgar Cemrâsî’s alphabet for Khalaj latin script. The Latin alphabet he prepared is based on the Azerbaijani alphabet, but according to an article written on his behalf, he is the first poet of Khalaj literature. - Use harekes for the shorts, use letters for longs. There will be only one problem, the ö and o sounds do not exist in Arabic. We have long letters but we don't have shorts for them. We can use the same system of Karakhanid, we don't specify o and u, ö and ü. We write the difference to transcription as latin. Or maybe او can be the short o and ö, then they won't be confused with u an ü. او was used in Turkic literature as the letter o and ö in the past. o and ö, u and ü, a and e, ı and i (all short) will be understood through soft consonants and hard consonants as in the past. "There is NOT any native word in Khalaj that begins with a vowel. Instead, they are replaced with /h/" you mentioned. If so, the word two is a borrowing. Or the word arığ. or the word âat, etc. This information seems not true. BurakD53 (talk) 22:53, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
