Protection of this page[edit]

Actually this page doesn't require edit protection, just the list pages. Uncle G 18:24, 3 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

List arragements[edit]

Anyone mind if I combine the sub-lists into a single "/Pages locked against recreation" subpage? --Connel MacKenzie 16:25, 3 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • I suspect that we might want to break up the lists in some fashion. We might want to break them up by month, for example, so that we know which protections have been around for a long time and which are recent. (Although we can do that by just adding month section headings to the lists and having an "always add to the bottom" rule, of course.) I hope that other Wiktionary sysops will be here soon. Please brainstorm. Uncle G 18:24, 3 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Auto-deletion message[edit]

I think I'll change User:Connel MacKenzie/del-cmnt.js until I finish these. --Connel MacKenzie 19:20, 3 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Cool idea[edit]

I think this is a cool idea, it says that it protects the article from editing. You can add that it prevent creation as well. You can stop a new article even from being created for the first time. Wiki Kong 23:42, 7 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

cat[edit]

Please can you have [[Category:Wiktionary|Protecyrf titles]]. Thanks. --Keene 00:57, 24 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

rewrite[edit]

Complete (long overdue ;-) rewrite to reflect the now-existing mechanism. Look at the history from 2007 for the previous version. Robert Ullmann 11:12, 27 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
