Esperanto[edit]
Etymology[edit]
Uncertain; possibly from the same root as Krakeno (from Old Norse kraki (“sea monster”, literally “something twisted”), from Proto-Germanic *krankaz (“crooked, bent, twisted”)), but the semantic divergence is difficult to reconcile.
Pronunciation[edit]
Noun[edit]
krakeno (accusative singular krakenon, plural krakenoj, accusative plural krakenojn)
