  1. closing event for the previous week(s), during which the participants display or perform things or activities which they have worked during the past week(s): for example, several classes of the same level in a grammar school perform a weeksluiting at the end of a week, to close off a theme that had been worked on up to that point (with the teacher's guidance, of course)
