Etymology[edit]
Possibly from wango, a play on Cebuano lango (“drunk; dizzy; woozy”), from Proto-Malayo-Polynesian *laŋu, from Proto-Austronesian *laŋu (“dizzy, drunk”). See also Tagalog lango.
