ǁnáa (tone I, class 3, plural ǁnám, diminutive ǁnàu-bâ, diminutive plural ǁnàã-nî)
- stick, stick for hunting the springhare, initiation sticks
- lightning
- ǃqhàa ń ʻáu bà ʻǂn'a̰le ǁnáa.
- (lit.) The rain takes out its stick, i.e. there is lightning, over there.
- ǃqhàa ń ʻáu bà ʻǂn'a̰le ǁnáa.
Usage notes[edit]
The plural is a member of Noun Class 2, but remains a member of Tone Class I.

ǁnáa (tone I, class 3, plural ǁnám or ǁnáã, diminutive ǁnàu-bâ, diminutive plural ǁnàã-nî)
- species of bush, wild currant (Grewia flava D.C.)
- The berries are eaten; the wood is used for making bows, huts and clubs; the root is an ingredient of dye for skins and is used to make a paste for shaving hair on the forehead
