սասանեմ (sasanem)  (aorist indicative սասանեցի)

  1. (transitive) to shake, to jog, to jolt, to stagger
  2. (transitive, figuratively) to move, to astonish
    սասանեալ կալsasaneal kalto stand abashed
  3. (transitive, figuratively) to frighten, to terrify
    սասանել զոտն ուրուք յերկրէ իւրմէsasanel zotn urukʻ yerkrē iwrmēto cause a person to emigrate
  4. (mediopassive, intransitive) to be shaken, to totter
    սասանել ի հիմանէsasanel i himanēto shake to its very foundations
  5. (mediopassive, intransitive, figuratively) to tremble, to shudder
  6. (mediopassive, intransitive, figuratively) to be dismayed, cast down
