Дунька (Dunʹka) is the pejorative form of the peasant woman’s name Евдокия (Jevdokija); Кулакова (Kulakova) is the feminine form of the surname Кулаков (Kulakov), which itself is formed from the possessive of кулак (kulak, fist).
