    оу- (u-) + ‎тещи (tešti, to run) → ‎оутещи (utešti, to run away, escape)
  2. perfective prefix
    оу- (u-) + ‎бости (bosti) → ‎оубости (ubosti)
  3. with a more concrete purpose
    оу- (u-) + ‎говорити impf (govoriti, to say) → ‎оуговорити pf (ugovoriti, to persuade)
    оу- (u-) + ‎знати impf (znati, to know) → ‎оузнати pf (uznati, to get to know)
