Borrowed from Classical Persian قبیله (qabīla), from Arabic قَبِيلَة (qabīla). Compare Punjabi ਕਬੀਲਾ (kabīlā) / قَبیلہ (qabelh), Gujarati કબીલો (kabīlo).
