From -e- (linking vowel) + -zik (verb-forming suffix).

- (verb-forming suffix) Added to a noun to form a verb.
- internet (“internet”) + -ezik → internetezik (“to use the internet”)
- víkend (“weekend”) + -ezik → víkendezik (“to weekend”)
Usage notes[edit]
- (verb-forming suffix) Variants:
- -zik is generally added to words ending in a vowel. Final -a changes to -á-. Final -e changes to -é-.
- -azik is added to some back-vowel words
- -ozik is added to most back-vowel words
- -ezik is added to unrounded (and some rounded) front-vowel words
- -özik is added to most rounded front-vowel words
Note: Certain words take another, synonymous suffix, -z/-oz/-az/-ez/-öz/-áz or -l/-ol/-al/-el/-öl/-ál.
