@Justinrleung Isn't it that even in Mandarin, you can use this term to refer to infants? Like asking whether the infant is male or female, in Standard Chinese, it's okay to say "男的还是女的", right? --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 07:14, 22 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Mar vin kaiser: Yes, I think that's true. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 07:28, 22 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Justinrleung: So yeah, I saw this and thought that it was kinda pointless to have a two-definition split. I'm gonna fuse them into one definition of "male". Any other suggestions? --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 08:20, 22 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Mar vin kaiser: Hmm, I'm not sure if it's a noun in the example you gave. I wonder if 一個男的 has to refer to an adult. @Tooironic, 沈澄心, any insights? — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 08:25, 22 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, I guess it is pointless to split them up since 一個男的 could refer to a male human of any age. ---> Tooironic (talk) 22:56, 22 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Justinrleung: I agree with @Tooironic. These definitions can be merged. -- 05:15, 26 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Mar vin kaiser, Tooironic, 沈澄心: Thanks, I've merged the definitions together. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 17:14, 26 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
