Mormonism and "God"

[edit]

Due to the non-Nicene Godhead model of the LDS / Mormon faith, "Heavenly Father" refers quite specifically to God the Father, and is never applied to Jesus, at least in modern use (while application of the title "Father" to Jesus is attested in the Book of Mormon, "Heavenly Father" is limited to the father of Jesus, in my experience). -- HarJIT (talk) 19:43, 11 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
