The negative metascience (but not an antonym of it)

[edit]

Metaphysics means in search of the fundamental principles, logical positivism rejects the traditional metaphysical doctrines, not the search of the fundamental principles, if you still mean generic denial of any fundamental principle, then create a second entry. If you mean lack of interest in the possible fundamental principles create a third entry. Search philosophical books. Entry no. 1 is erroneously generic thus not simply unclear but wrong!

Circle of Vienna

[edit]

logical positivism, also called logical empiricism, a philosophical movement that arose in Vienna in the 1920s and was characterized by the view that scientific knowledge is the only kind of factual knowledge and that all traditional metaphysical doctrines are to be rejected as meaningless.[1]

Cohesionless definition

[edit]

The diction of the definition is academic but the invoked sense of the word metaphysics is the vernacular one which means religion/supernaturalism/spirituality. Add the word traditional in front of metaphysics either replace it with supernaturalism. Some leading editors sometimes write as the Pythia, and compact various possible definitions under ambiguous words. That doesn't constitute a lexicographical method.

Robbie isn't a US American University (yes Institutions are more important than individuals). Sorry... You're narrow-minded. A mere atheistic antimetaphysicalist, not a US level-2. — This unsigned comment was added by 2a02:2149:8272:ce00:34e5:4988:7ef2:5e6b (talk).

Stop the presses! I'm Swedish and apparently my nationality somehow disqualifies me from revering arbitrary changes and protecting pages plagued by edit wars. FYI, neither universities nor institutions create and/or edit pages on Wiktionary – entries are created by people, and I'm afraid I have to contradict you: individuals are more important. --Robbie SWE (talk) 19:39, 11 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
And you're Greek. So what. You're trying to rewrite the English language based on your bizarre misinterpretations in a number of subjects. If anyone actually used the misinformation you're trying to feed them, no one would understand what they were saying. Wiktionary is a descriptive dictionary and your contributions are completely divorced from reality, so we will continue to revert your edits and block you. Why don't you create your own private language and go talk to yourself in a closet somewhere? Chuck Entz (talk) 20:59, 11 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
