Idiomatic Usage[edit]

I'd like to see some idiomatic usage. For instance, in reference to electromagnetic theory (which is hard/complicated) 24.79.75.240 17:43, 2 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Regarding the usage notes: I feel this should be a second definition, not a note, because this usage is not the same as the primary definition ("magic derived from evil forces") in that it is not derived from evil nor does it intend to do harm. This second definition could be something like "Advanced technology understood by few." Anecdotally, I have heard this definition used as a description in the following contexts: physical layout of high-frequency circuits, programming obscure features of specific microprocessors or microcontrollers. This definition is related to but distinct from the kludge. Sources would be required to corroborate this definition. 2610:148:610:6801:E48F:8075:10B7:32B8 18:05, 12 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
