Proposed changes to English definition and lemma reference

Hi, I usually perform minor edits for grammatical consistency, and having looked through most of the documentation for editing Wiki pages, I'm still lost on how to change a few things about the English definition.

First, I'd like to change the reference to cab (currently referencing en only) to instead reference the second English etymology since that's the specific sense that this form references. I haven't found a clear answer or a guide to change this over, and as a new user, I would really appreciate guidance on this.

Second, regarding the brief definition after the reference to the main page for cab, in my opinion and experience, it'd be more helpful to remove the definition entirely and then to implement the reference above.

I'm open to feedback on both of these proposals, since I haven't been able to read over every formatting advisement for page creation and editing. Lastly, am I right in saying that nodot doesn't perform any function here? Both this page and the referenced page seem to stay the same whether it's there or not.
