Reverted blanking of Japanese translation

[edit]

Granted 途方もない (~"extraordinary") doesn't have exactly the same meaning as "prodigious", but it seems better than no translation at all, so I reverted the blanking of it. Rod (A. Smith) 07:48, 14 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Is -ious used here? --Backinstadiums (talk) 10:31, 9 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Etymology

[edit]

@Ioaxxere: Middle French was mentioned in the etymology before I edited it, so I just left it in place as it is plausible. — Sgconlaw (talk) 21:31, 28 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Sgconlaw: It was added by User:Dan Polansky in 2009 citing Century 1911, but no recent dictionary agrees with that source. Ioaxxere (talk) 22:22, 28 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
