magic moment

[edit]

How do you feel about this term? Too SoPish? Should I create it? There's a citations page that was created in 2022: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Citations:magic_moment newfiles (talk) 20:19, 15 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Why you asking me? Denazz (talk) 08:47, 20 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Personal attacks/harassment warning

[edit]

Hello, please don't say things like "Kiss! My! A--" in comments. And I'm also bothered that you've expressed an intent to harass and hound me. It smacks of trolling Purplebackpack89 23:41, 27 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry that you get offended by mildly bad language, and that people scrutinize your edits with the goal of improving the dictionary. Denazz (talk) 12:37, 28 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

procedure for recording and uploading audio files

[edit]

Hey dude. You recorded and uploaded some 16,000 audio files. Surely you must have developed a fast procedure for doing so. Can you enlighten me as to what you do? I want to upload some audio files and not waste more effort than needed doing it. Benwing2 (talk) 04:12, 7 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

for your kinds words! Mazzlebury (talk) 23:00, 9 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Mazzlebury Yeah, where do you get the missing words from? Denazz (talk) 23:27, 9 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Well I work as an ESL tutor, and phrasal verbs are a lot of what we work on. People learning English hate them, so some are from them asking me about them, especially the AAVE and modern slang ones. But that also gets me thinking about the topic, and when I hear a phrase like "hit it out of the ballpark" I start wondering if that's been shortened to "hit out". So I've just been adding them to wiktionary as I go, when I find them. Mazzlebury (talk)
