English[edit]
Etymology[edit]
See absolviture and absolvitor, as applicable. The use of absolvitur for absolvitor is incorrect: the correct verb form of absolvō is the third-person singular future passive imperative form absolvitor (“let him be absolved”), and not the third-person singular present passive indicative form absolvitur (“he is absolved”).
Noun[edit]
absolvitur (uncountable)
- Obsolete spelling of absolviture.
- Misspelling of absolvitor.
