Etymology[edit]
From Proto-Tocharian *ānāiwātstse, from *e(n)- + *āiwā-, a form of *āiw- (“to turn towards”), + *-tstse; cognate with Tocharian A ānewāts. Equivalent to e(n)- + aiw- + -tstse.
