credit cookie (plural credit cookies)

  1. A short clip that appears during or after the closing credits of a film or video game, typically either humorous or setting up a possible sequel.
    • 2002, Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times:
      ...the movie ends with one of those "deleted" scenes over the final credits. This particular credit cookie is notable for being even more boring and pointless than the movie.
