Borrowed from English Kei apple.[1]
Pronunciation[edit]
- As for Tonal Class, Benson (1964) classifies this term into Class 3 with a trisyllabic stem, together with kĩgokora, mbarĩki, thimiti, and so on.

kaiyaba class 12 (plural tũiyaba)
- Kei apple (Dovyalis caffra); introduced from Southern Africa, fruit edible, also used for hedging.[2]
