Etymology[edit]
From thūr (طور) > tuhar > ke + tuhar (ketuhar). Thūr (طور) refers to a traditional oven, typically made of clay or mud, used for baking bread and other foods. It is similar to the English term "tannur" or "tanour," which describes a cylindrical clay oven commonly found in Middle Eastern and North African cuisines.
