Etymology[edit]
From Proto-Slavic *vy-slědъ-kъ (compare Slovak výsledok, Czech výsledek, Carpathian Rusyn выслідок (vŷslidok)). By surface analysis, wu- + slěd (“track, trace”) + -k.
