Etymology[edit]
Learned borrowing from French pseudonyme, from Ancient Greek ψευδώνυμος (pseudṓnumos).[1] Morphologically, ψευδ- (psevd-, “pseudo-”) + -ώνυμο (-ónymo, “name”).
