Etymology
[edit]A voiced form of رَسَخَ (rasaḵa, “to be fixed, to sink in”) from the root ر س خ (r-s-ḵ) or similar, with the rest of the formations within the root ر س غ (r-s-ḡ) being secondary to the present anatomical term.
