Etymology

Inherited from Sauraseni Prakrit [Term?], from Sanskrit सार्ध (sārdha, plus a half). Compare Nepali साढे (sāḍhe), Punjabi ਸਾਢੇ (sāḍhe), Gujarati સાડા (sāḍā), Marathi साडे (sāḍe).
