Usage notes[edit]
When the topic marking particle "-은"(eun) is attached to the original subject, this adverb is mostly used with the subjective particle "-가/이" as if it were a noun. For example:
- 나무들이 거의 꽃으로 뒤덮여 있다.

- Trees are almost covered with blossoms.
