  • The plural is fairly rare, but can be used for “different systems of signage”: Der Flughafen und der Bahnhof haben völlig unterschiedliche Beschilderungen. (The airport and the train station have entirely different systems of signage.) Relatedly, it can also mean “signs for different purposes”: Auf den Packungen sind verschiedenste Beschilderungen. (There are all kinds of different signs on the packets.)
