Just the adjective section:

  1. (derogatory) Traitorous or in cooperation with a foreign or hostile power, especially in administration of occupied territory.

Not sure how one would use it in a sentence... Chuck Entz (talk) 07:21, 28 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

An American diplomat used the phrase Vichy Ukraine early last year. I wouldnt expect to find the word by itself in a predicate, though, or used with a comparative. And since that would make it arguably not an adjective, I offer Potemkin as a comparison ... I think this sense of Vichy behaves grammatically like Potemkin, and so either both should be adjectives or both proper nouns. Soap 10:02, 29 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
If it meets CFI I would consider it a noun used attributively. Vox Sciurorum (talk) 18:19, 30 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Well, we don't have a noun sense for Vichy just used by itself apart from saying that it means Vichy France. That wouldnt really explain much to a curious reader. I think this is best left as an adjective since it will almost never, if ever, occur on its own as just "Vichy". Soap 12:16, 15 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Cited, and changed to attributive noun per Vox Sciurorum (fails adjective tests). —Al-Muqanna المقنع (talk) 12:30, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
