Should this be "Translingual" instead of English? --Bequw¢τ 22:20, 8 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

No, it shouldn't. The title of this entry is not "$" but "dollar sign", which is undeniably English. --Hekaheka (talk) 19:47, 8 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
This said, I think that most of the content should be moved to the Translingual entry $. --Hekaheka (talk) 19:53, 8 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Number of definitions

[edit]

Aren't there about 5 definitions too many (out of current six)?. "Dollar sign" means the symbol "$" and the so called senses are just different uses of that sign. --Hekaheka (talk) 19:46, 8 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

I've got the same impression. --Anatoli (обсудить/вклад) 12:42, 9 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

We have dollar-sign eyes, but this may occur in other phrases such as "dollar signs written all over it". Perhaps worth documenting somehow. Equinox 21:34, 25 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
