Blend of ecological + suburb
ecoburb (plural ecoburbs)
- (US) A type of suburban development which protects environmental functions of a site such as natural hydrology and habitat.
- Village Homes in Davis, California and The Woodlands, Texas are ecoburbs..[1][2]
