emparish (third-person singular simple present emparishes, present participle emparishing, simple past and past participle emparished)

1. (UK, uncommon) To create a parish for an area, in particular a civil parish.

   Sufficient petition signatures to emparish the entire area was acquired from residents by August 2006, which the Isle of Wight Council then submitted to Government with their support.
