Unknown, probably Borrowed from Prakrit kaḍāha (iron vessel, cauldron) + Sanskrit -क (-ka, diminutive masculine nominal suffix), from Sanskrit कटाहक (kaṭāhaka, caldron, pan, pot).[1]
