- (often in the plural) pork scratching, pork rind, deep fried fatback, crackling (deep-fried small pieces of bacon or lard)
Usage notes
[edit]- Sometimes translated as "bacon bit".
- The diminutive and related forms are also usually in the plural; for example spirgučiai is much more common than spirgutis.
