accidentally as a verb

[edit]

I guess the meme were accidentally acts as a word is not widespread enough to merit a mention here yet?

E.g. a reddit title: "one nasty typo and you accidentally everything" (here meaning to accidentally remove) or to "accidentally a word" (omit a word, such as the verb in a sentence).

Please tell me you're not being serious. There are two problems here: your state of ignoring the word's etymology and usage in its original, nonsensical context and your reasoning that any construction in forum topic titles is automatically considered to be grammatically sound. 8ty3hree (talk) 03:13, 22 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Don't listen to the other guy, if people are legitimately using it that way, and others can recognize what is meant, that's all that matters. It usually takes some kind of semi arbitrary threshold of number of people using it and regularity before new uses will go into anything even a little official. Oliver W. K.
