zero vector (plural zero vectors)

2. (mathematics, linear algebra) A vector $0$ in a vector space $V$ such that for any $v\in V$, $0+v=v$; a vector whose value in every dimension is zero; i.e., ${\vec {0}}=<0,0,\ldots ,0>$.

   The zero vector of a given vector space is the space's additive identity.
